Hello! I’m Rooh-Afza Khan, the founder of FAM Medical Aesthetics.
My journey has been fueled by learning. I hold a degree in Statistics, Economics, and Computer Science, but my dream culminated in earning my Doctor of Medicine degree in 2010. This rich educational background informs my approach to medical aesthetics, allowing me to celebrate our unique differences.
After dedicating time to nurturing my family, I proudly pursued additional certifications in Aesthetic Medicine in 2022 and practiced part-time. At FAM Medical Aesthetics, I provide services to individuals from all walks of life.

Hello! I’m Sarah DeSousa, a Nurse Practitioner passionate about holistic, patient-centered care in both primary care and medical aesthetics. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, I began my career as a Registered Nurse in 2012. Earning a specialty certification in Medical Aesthetics, I became a Nurse Practitioner in 2021, to reflect my belief in the profound connection between wellness, confidence, and health.
I offer a unique blend of services that promote physical health and personal well-being, recognizing that our outer appearance often reflects our inner emotions. As a Medical Director at FAM, I also mentor fellow healthcare professionals in aesthetics, ensuring high standards of safety, ethics, and quality care are maintained in our industry.
My commitment to holistic care drives my passion for health promotion, disease prevention, and empowering individuals to feel confident in their skin.
